Access and Accommodations at the Main Library:                

The library's programs and services are intended to be accessible to people with disabilities.  Please call if you have questions about access, and please let us know if you require assistance in the library.

 

Here are some of the access options at our main library:

.   Accessible parking spaces near the door and the ramp

.   Bus stop (ETS Purple Route)  at one minute after the hour.

.  Easy ramp access

.  Motorized cart (scooter) with basket - located near the circulation desk where you enter the library 

.  Elevator access to second floor

.  Wheelchair accessible restroom

.  Handrails in restrooms and as stair guides

.  Closed caption videos

.  Low vision readers on each floor to magnify books and other written material

.  Large print books and audio books to check out

.  Ask us about the California State Library's Braille and Talking Book Library service.  This service loans  Braille, cassette and talking books, magazines and playback equipment to those unable to read conventional print.  They also have digital audio books.  The material is sent to your home.
